2019 will mark our fourth camp year! Please stay tuned for more information!
Each year gifted students grades 2-4 come together to dive into a three week, 1/2 day summer literature camp featuring a specific literary text. Camp includes looking at literary elements through the eyes of the author and literary selection; correlating discussions, analysis and reflections as well as integrating technology, art and social implications.
The primary goal of the camp is to introduce students to a diverse cultural and/or historical time period and to promote writing, discussion, critical thinking and analysis skills.
